College classes that begin after 1630 will meet as scheduled.
TABE
The Test of Adult Basic Education (TABE)
is required for some army Warrant Officer Programs and some Advanced Leader Courses
(BNCOC).
This test is given at Schofield Barracks by
appointment only. The Tripler / Fort Shafter Education Counselor can provide
interested soldiers with their appointment slip – saving them a drive to
Schofield. If you have a legitimate
reason to take this test contact the Tripler Education Center counselor at
433-4184.
GT IMPROVEMENT CLASS
The next GT
Improvement Class will begin on June 4 and end on July 9. Classes meet from 0830 – 1130 hours, Monday
through Thursday. Plan now! Registration has begun.
This is an
on-duty class, therefore:
Command approval is necessary
Commander’s attendance policy will be followed
Uniform as prescribed by the commander.

Aiea Community School for Adults is the contractor for GT Improvement classes. A $10 fee is payable during the first class
session.
Foreign Language / AFCT Testing
* Defense Language Aptitude Battery (DLAB)
* Defense Language Proficiency Test (DLPT)
* Armed Forces Classification Test (AFCT)
Testing hours at Tripler Education
Center have been curtailed. By direction
the above cited tests will be administered on Tuesdays only until 17 July. The normal two days per week testing schedule
will resume on that date.
