The first day of Term 2 2013 is Monday January 7, 2013 (next Monday) and it is coming soon! You can register via campus pipeline or by stopping by one of the MCP base offices. The last day to register is Friday, January 11, 2013.

HPU Tripler Early Closure - 31 Dec

The HPU Tripler office will be closing at 1300 on 31 Dec for the New Year's holiday.  The office will resume normal business hours Wednesday, 2 Jan - 0900 - 1700.  Have a Happy New Year!

Testing Center Closure - Friday, 21 Dec

The testing center will be closed on Friday, 21 Dec.  Please plan accordingly.  The testing center will be open on 28 Dec and will resume normal business hours 0900 - 1500.

Testing Center Closed - Fri 23 NOV

The technical support offices of CLEP, DSST, and Pearson Vue will be closed on November 23 as part of their Thanksgiving vacation. The Tripler testing center has suspended testing services on that day since we will have reduced support from our test providers.  We apologize for the inconvenience.

New Advisor @ HPU Tripler

I am pleased to announce Tonya Insani has been selected and accepted the position of Advisor & Coordinator at Tripler. Tonya joins us from University of Colorado Springs where she worked as the VA Coordinator and holds a Master's in Education from College of William & Mary.  Please join me in wishing her the best with her new position.

Wifi Access Changes - Effective Sept 13

Effective Sept 13, wifi can only be accessed via the HPU Pipeline.  ONLY HPU students, faculty, and staff will be allowed access.  Wireless accounts are created through the HPU Pipeline on the Tech Support tab.

FY 2012 Classes

Hi Everyone,

Army TA request for all classes starting prior to 9/30/2012 (Term 1 Interim, Main Campus Courses) must be completed by 9/25/2012.  No exceptions. 

Placement Exam Temporarily Suspened

ALL ACCUPLACER testing is suspended from 07/20/2012. Students who need to take the placement exam, please do so after 07/23.

New Education Assistant @ Tripler

CLEP Fee Increase

Effective 07/01/2012 CLEP exam fee has increased to $80. Please be sure to check the numeric and written amounts on student checks/money orders submitted for payment. The 2012-13 annual CLEP publications should include the new exam fee. Visit www.collegeboard.com/clepresources to order your free materials to get the word out about CLEP.

Tripler Education Complex NEWSLETTER July 2012

TABE 
The Test of Adult Basic Education (TABE) is required for some army Warrant Officer Programs and some Advanced Leader Courses (BNCOC). This test is given at Schofield Barracks by appointment only. The Tripler / Fort Shafter Education Counselor can provide soldiers with their appointment slip – saving them a drive to Schofield. If you have a legitimate reason to take this test contact the Tripler Education Center counselor at 433-4184.

December Graduation Ceremony

MCP Tripler students planning to walk in the December Graduation Ceremony. Please schedule an appointment to review your graduation status No Later Than 08/09/2012. All paperwork must be in by 08/20/2012. If you are unable to come in please complete the Petition to Graduate Form and email it to tripler@hpu.edu

Attention Tripler students. Books will NOT be available for sale between 29 June and 1 July 2012 due to End of Year Inventory. Military Campus offices and online registration will continue to operate on normal hours during this time period, but books and sundry items will not be sold.

To Order your Official HPU Transcript, login to your HPU Pipeline and select  "Request Official Transcript" under My Quick Links.  You will be required to establish your account after inclusion of certain identifying information with the first order. You must provide a valid credit card which will be charged when the transcript is sent.

SeaWarriors to play at Joint Base Pearl Harbor- Hickam Bloch Arena

SAVE THE DATE!! On December, 16, 17, and 19 [Sunday, Monday and Wednesday] at the end of this year, the HPU basketball teams, along with other teams, will be playing at the Joint Base Pearl Harbor- Hickam Bloch Arena! It will be a great HPU event on base...and I hope to see you all there! More details to come in later months...

Placement Exams @ Tripler

PURPOSE OF THE TESTS 
These are not entrance exams. You have already been admitted to Hawai‘i Pacific University, and test results do not affect admission. You cannot fail placement tests. Your scores are a measure of your educational development in English, mathematics, and/or other areas. They enable us to determine which courses you need in order to progress and succeed in your studies. Because scores do affect your placement, you should try to do your very best.

Book Buyback @ Tripler!!!

Hawaii Pacific University Bookstores conducts several buybacks throughout the year.  Most of the buybacks are held at the downtown location.  In May and December, the windward Hawaii Loa location also conducts a buyback and, periodically, selected military campus locations will hold a buyback.  The buybacks are normally held at or near the end of a term.  At this time you will need to sell your books to us in person.  Below is listing of upcoming buybacks @ Tripler!!!
